Also the Mirena IUD may slip out of place and that could cause you to become pregnant as well. Therefore, an additional form of birth control such as a condom is not a bad idea for you and your partner to use.
There are several other risk factors and side effects that are associated when you have the Mirena IUD inserted such as you could have blood clots develop in your veins or even lungs, diabetes or you might become anemic. It could also thin your blood out where it will not clot if you have an emergency and you need it to.
You might begin to notice that your breasts have become very tender. Nausea might be another side effect that you could experience once your physician has inserted the Mirena IUD. Along with mood changes and headaches the various side effects could be different on each individual person. |
