Breakthrough bleeding

Acne (generally after 3 months of taking this medication it may improve)
Abdominal bloating or cramping
Swelling of feet and ankles
Some of the less common side effects that a woman might experience are:
Decrease or increase in sexual activities
Weight loss or gain
Brown spots when skin is exposed
Loss or gain of facial or even bodily hairs
Increasing sensitivity to sunlight
If these symptoms occur and are unbearable then you might want to consult with your physician immediately. Also be sure that you state to your physician all the medications that you might have to take because some medications can interact with the Ortho Cept birth control. Your physician might have to discontinue the use of some medications that you have to take or find you another form of medication to take..
