Is There Any Side Effects In Taking Alesse?

Based upon several studies of the birth control Alesse there is different side effects that are related, just like with any other type of medications. Some of the side effects can tend to be mild or even severe, permanent or temporary. Not everyone experiences these side effects when they take Alesse, while others do.
 
Alesse helps to prevent ovulation with the combination of the female hormones. It can change the cervical mucus and the lining of your uterus, so that it is hard for the sperm to be able to reach the egg.
 
The following side effects have been experienced by some of the women who have taken Alesse.

 
Acne


Abdominal bloating or cramping


Vomiting


Dizziness


Breast tenderness, pain, or even swelling


Weakness


Swelling of your feet or ankles


Weight gain


Weight loss


Skin could become sensitive to sunlight


Decrease or increase in sexual drive


Increase in facial hair growth


Chest pain


Headache


Loss of appetite


Depression symptoms such as mood changes or sleep problems


Changes in your menstrual periods


Vaginal discharge


Although you may not experience these side effects, if you do it is highly recommend that you seek medical advice so that it does not lead to a very serious problem. Some women even experience an allergic reaction.


 
This is a medication that is taken by most women as a form of contraception to help prevent her from becoming pregnant.
